Every distribution in one place

Dividend investors usually end up with the same problem: payouts arrive across two or three brokers, in two or three currencies, and the only honest answer to "how much did I actually receive last year?" is a long evening with a spreadsheet. Manalyx is a free dividend portfolio tracker that pulls ex-dates, payment dates and historical payouts together for every stock you hold – mechanically, with no future-yield promises attached.

Where dividend data comes from

For supported tickers, dividends are pulled from the same market data sources that already provide stock prices – each payment stored with ex-date, payment date and amount. Special distributions or missing entries can be recorded manually so the income view stays complete.

Dividend calendar, history and per-stock view

A dividend calendar surfaces upcoming ex-dates and payment dates so payments stop catching you off guard. Each stock detail page shows the dividend history alongside the price chart, so income context lives right next to the value context.

How it fits into the rest of the portfolio

Dividend tracking is one view inside the stocks module, not a separate product – the aggregated income figures use the same base currency as the rest of the portfolio. Foreign-currency dividends are converted at the daily rate, with the original currency preserved on the underlying entry.

Trailing-twelve-month thinking

Why Manalyx prefers TTM dividend data over forward forecasts

Forward dividend forecasts read confidently but lean on assumptions a tracker cannot guarantee. Manalyx instead uses a 12-month rolling lookback (TTM) per stock: every dividend that actually landed in the last twelve months feeds the per-stock yield and the portfolio-level dividend chart. The result is a number you can reconcile against your bank statements, not a number derived from analyst expectations.

Per-stock TTM yield versus portfolio-level cash flow

Yield-on-cost and current yield are computed per ISIN from the actual dividend payments over the last 12 months. At the portfolio level, those payments aggregate into a monthly cash-flow chart so a quarterly Microsoft payment and a monthly Realty Income distribution share the same calendar view.

How withholding tax and currency are handled

Foreign dividends arrive net of withholding tax in your broker's currency. Manalyx records the gross amount where the broker provides it, the net amount as actually received and the FX rate at pay date. The dividend chart can be toggled between gross and net so the planning view does not flatter the reality.

Dividend cuts, suspensions and reinstatements

When a company cuts or suspends, the TTM yield naturally collapses on the next quarterly cycle, which is the right behaviour — you see reality, not a forward estimate that pretends otherwise. A reinstated dividend reappears as soon as the first new payment lands; no manual reset is required.
