Checking a portfolio app every day is a habit that rarely pays for itself. The weekly portfolio summary is an opt-in email that lands in your inbox on the day of the week you choose, recapping the last seven days of your wealth – total value, change, top movers, asset-class contribution and an optional cashflow snapshot. One signal a week, no nagging push notifications.
Each summary covers a 7-day window and shows your total portfolio value at start and end of the period, the change, the contribution per category and the most notable individual movers. For users with the banking module, an optional cashflow snapshot is included – aggregated only, no transaction-level detail.
You enable the weekly summary in Settings and pick the day of the week the email should arrive – the schedule is then handled server-side. The email is sent from the verified manalyx.com domain to the address on your account; opt-out is available from the same page and takes effect immediately.
The summary uses only the data already in your Manalyx account – no external profile data is added and no asset details are shared with third parties. The email contains no recommendations, no predictions and no interpretations – just a neutral checkpoint.
The weekly portfolio summary is designed as a single message worth keeping — not a daily digest, not a price-alert spam. It runs on Sunday evening (configurable) and reports the seven-day movement of your net worth, the largest contributors and detractors, and any meaningful changes in concentration. Anything that would push the email toward forecasts, tips or recommendations is intentionally absent — that boundary is what keeps it useful instead of turning it into another newsletter you ignore.
Daily emails normalise to noise; monthly emails miss meaningful trends until they are already entrenched. A seven-day cadence captures position-level changes that matter without overwhelming the inbox. The header-line is your net-worth delta in absolute and percentage terms so you can decide in two seconds whether to open it.
The body lists your top contributors and detractors with their actual EUR/USD impact. A position that moved 3 % but only contributes 1 % of net worth is treated differently from a 3 % move on a 30 % position. This makes the email map cleanly to the portfolio-health view inside the app.
The email contains aggregated values per asset class and per top position — never IBANs, wallet addresses, transaction-level data or external reference IDs. If your inbox is ever scanned by a third party (filtering, archiving, indexing), the leaked surface is your portfolio totals, not your accounts.

Toggle on "Weekly Portfolio Updates" and select your preferred weekday.
On your chosen day at 18:00 UTC you'll receive your summary via email.
